Welcome to College Community Construction Central. The College Community School District is one of the fastest growing districts in the state. Continued growth brings about exciting changes to help meet the needs of our students. This website serves as a one-stop resource for parents, students, staff, district patrons and the general public to stay informed during all phases of construction projects.

Prairie Is a Growing District
The College Community School District is one of the fastest growing districts in the state. The student population totaled 5,605 in fall 2015, a more than 33% growth over 10 years, and is projected to reach more than 6,300 by 2023. Enrollment at College Community School District has outpaced projected growth and outgrown current facilities. The graduating class of 2014 had 291 students. In 2018, approximately 413 seniors will graduate. This year, throughout the district, there are nine classes with 400 or more students. In order to accommodate current and future needs, the school board created a facilities advisory committee - comprised of parents, teachers, and administrators from every campus building - to create a new 10-year plan to further support the growth of our schools. This is the first step in implementing that plan.

What the Bond Will Pay For
College Community School District will use the $49.5 million generated by the bond to add classroom space, improve safety and security, reduce operational costs, and increase community access in the following ways at the high school and three of the elementary schools:
