What comes to mind when you think of Jimmy Buffett? We think of PRAIRIE FEST 2011 - 'Another Day in Paradise'!

Saturday, March 26 is date for Prairie Fest 2011. Offer your support to the College Community School District by attending this lei'd back tropical themed dinner, auction, and dance event hosted by the Prairie School Foundation. This year's best dressed in tropical themed attire will win $50! Prairie Fest serves to financially benefit the Prairie schools to help provide our students and teachers with the resources necessary to offer the best educational opportunities possible.

Prairie Fest 2011'Another Day in Paradise' begins with social hour at 4:30 pm. This is a great time to look over the more than 400 silent auction items that are generously donated by hundreds of area business and individual supporters. You have several options for donations. You can donate items for the auction by contacting Foundation Director Steve Doser at 848-5437. You may also donate to the Prairie Kids Fund through the website www.Prairiepride.org.

The Prairie Fest dinner, prepared by the Kirkwood School of Culinary Arts, is served at 5:15 pm at Kirkwood Community College, The Kirkwood Hotel at Kirkwood Center. The much anticipated live auction with such items as the Prairie campus street signs, lifetime athletic passes, vacation packages, home décor, and much more begins at 7:00 pm. The live auction is followed by dancing to the fun musical selections of the DJ's Too Cool Guys.

RESERVATIONS
Reservations for Prairie Fest 'Another Day in Paradise' are limited and must be placed in advance. Admission is $50 per person or $600 for a corporate table for 10. Reservations placed prior to February 26 will be entered into a drawing to win $250. Parents and past attendees will soon be receiving an invitation in the mail to attend Prairie Fest 2011.
