The Prairie View PTO consists of parents and families who are interested in and wanting to provide ongoing support of the school. The mission of the Prairie View Elementary School Parent Organization is to:

• Create a collaborative partnership between parents and teachers,
• To develop a framework to facilitate and support the education, safety, and enrichment of our students.

The objectives of the organization are:

• To enrich the knowledge base of our members concerning the education and safety of our children.
• To enhance the communication and strengthen the relationship between home and school.
• To provide support for programs/projects which facilitate a learning and supportive environment for our children.
• To discuss concerns, suggestions, and ideas related to school activities.

Any parent, legal guardian, administrator, faculty member, or staff of Prairie View Elementary School can participate as a member of the Prairie View PTO. There are no membership fees. All funds generated through PTO to support educational programs are generated through regular fundraising events.
