In our district, we conduct student-led conferences twice a year. We believe students take better ownership when they are given the opportunity and responsibility to self assess, reflect, and set goals. Teachers teach, guide, and support the students as they prepare for the conferences. Parents are encouraged to schedule parent conferences any time of the year if there is a need.
