With the intense summer training, our school will make special efforts in the following three areas:

Improve students' reading comprehension achievement - While many of the existing reading programs will continue to serve our children, this year we will make a special effort to teach children strategies to read, learn and think through both fiction and non-fiction materials.

Improve students' character development by using our identified problem solving steps - We believe that if we all use the same guidelines throughout the year to help children reflect, they will eventually make the connection between success and personal decisions.

We believe a strong home/school partnership is important to the success of our students. We continue to look for efficient ways to communicate with families.
