Prairie Edge is a College Community School that is located on the Four Oaks campus on Kirkwood Blvd. It is a segregated school for students who are struggling with severe behavior problems that significantly impact their learning and the learning of others. Between 40-50 students attend one of seven classrooms in our K-12 school. Our students are either residents of Four Oaks or College Community District resident students.

What makes us unique?

• Students attend school in a smaller, very structured learning environment with a low student-teacher ratio.
• We emphasize teaching students to understand their behavior and anger and learn how to gain positive control of both.
• We teach students how to develop skills to become successful in school so they can successfully integrate into the main Prairie campus schools.
• We provide a safe environment for students who are struggling with behaviors.
• The College Community Suspension Center is also located in our building
