Scholarship application dates are updated on this page regularly, but you should always check with the sponsoring institutions to make sure you have the correct deadline for any application that you intend to submit.
Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program -
Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants will award $1000 to the scholarship
winner. Students will submit an essay on a topic that appears on the scholarship
page of their website at www.abbottandfenner.com/scholarships.htm.

AIFS Foundation's Academic Year in America -
This program offers a full

The American Legion 2nd District of Iowa is awarding 3 Merit Awards of $300

Ann Griffel Scholarship -
The Iowa Women’s Golf Association (IWGA) will award $1500 to high school
senior girls who intend to further their education at an Iowa institution of
higher learning, whether a college, university or trade school. Applications

The Foundation plans to offer scholarships for an educational experience abroad.
The selected student will be involved in a challenging exercise which includes
living as a member of a family in the Czech Republic for 4 weeks. Applications

Czech Women’s Educational Society Scholarship -
Available to seniors of Cedar Rapids area high schools, who are of direct Czech/Slovak

Ames Alumni Chapter of Beta Sigma Psi will

Delta Kappa Gamma Recruitment Grant -
Delta Kappa Gamma Society Int’l is a group of key women educators
in the Cedar Rapids area. Members participate in the Younkers Community Sale
Coupon Booklet program in order to raise funds for Recruitment Grants, available
to high school seniors working toward an education degree. Grants range from

Program -

Elks National Foundation - Most Valuable Student Scholarship -

The Iowa Gamma Chapter of Phi-Delta at ISU awards this $500 scholarship to
one incoming freshman male student. The winner will possess the values they

Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship -
Mrs. Janice Marie Scott was a victim of the terrorists attack on the Pentagon
on 9/11/01. In her honor, her family has established this fund and has made
available six scholarships for $2500 each. Students must be US citizens,
have GPA of 2.5 or higher, plan to attend a US accredited 4 year college
and must have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in

Up to 60 scholarships for $1000 are awarded to freshman students who will

For seniors who have an ACT score of 25 or higher and 3.5 GPA or higher.

Kleiman Family Scholarship -
Full tuition up to $5000 to ISU, U of I or UNI

Will award three $1000 scholarships to seniors with learning disabilities planning
to obtain post-secondary education (college or vocational). Please contact

Legal Support Professionals Scholarships -
The LSP of Linn County and the LSP of Iowa will award scholarships
determined annually as part of their budget, to any senior who has a “B” average
and plans to enroll in a law-related field of education, training for legal
assistant, paralegal, legal secretary, or attorney. Applications

Leo H. Grether Memorial Scholarship -
The Iowa High School Music Association will award a $1000 scholarship
to a graduating senior enrolling in college as a vocal music major. Application

Recipient shall be a senior living in a home currently served by the Linn

Linn County Master Gardeners Scholarship -
Available to seniors interested in seeking a degree in horticulture at an Iowa

Iowa high school seniors pursuing programs of study in any field of agriculture

$1000 scholarship available through Fairfax State Savings Bank to a senior
who resides in Linn or Benton County. Application.

Master Gardeners Scholarship -

the purpose of attaining a degree in the field of horticulture at an Iowa college
