| K-1 Art Gallery |
First grade students learned about a technique called collage to make their new vocabulary word - cityscape. Students used torn tissue paper for their sunset and pictures from magazines for their buildings. When their cities were dry they added details with a Sharpie marker.

| 2 Art Gallery |
Second grade students made their own 'Wild Things' based off the Caldecott Winning children's book 'Where the Wild Things Are'. Students drew their own wild thing with pencil, outlined with Sharpie, and then used Chalk Pastel to fill in their whimsical drawings.

Students formatted their name into a triangle to create these radial designs which they colored with marker or crayon.

| 5th Art Gallery |
Fifth graders are learning about artist, Keith Haring. Students did three projects surrounding Keith's styles, techniques, and progression of artwork. The first project (not pictured) surrounded Keith's start in the subways of New York, the second celebrated his use of non-traditional surfaces by using CD's and last students worked in groups to make mini murals (not pictured).
